Marta Cieslak, born in Warsaw, is the teaching assistant in the Polish Studies Program at the University at Buffalo and a Ph.D. student in the American Studies Department at UB. She received her M.A. degrees in Polish Studies and American Studies from the University of Warsaw. Her main fields of interests are twentieth century US literature and history.  She is currently working on the bilingual Polish-English project discussing social upheavals of 1968 in Poland and the United States.
